We are seeking an experienced DevOpS Engineer experienced working in AWS. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating and managing infrastructure as code and automating deployments using AWS tools and services. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure in a highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant manner.

This individual must be a US CITIZEN and should be able to obtain a government trust clearance.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and be a passionate self starter working in a techincal environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST BE US CITIZEN

Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and Docker, preferably working experience with AWS EKS and AWS ECR
  • 3+ years experience in Linux system adminstration
  • 2+ years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure management and deployment
  • 2+ years of experience in deployment/configuration of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and others
  • 2+ years of experience in implemententing a CI/CD process for Application Development, Data Integration, and/or Business Intelligence Development
  • 2+ years of experience with automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and/or Chef
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD tool stack, preferably with AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, and CodePipeline
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python or Bash and SQL
  • Proficient in Database adminstration in Oracle, Sql Server, Redshift, etc
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Client Engagement Experience

  • Experience working directly with client to gather/build requirement, analyzing data, designing technical solutions to address clients needs
  • Conducts unit tests, code reviews, assesses and improves site/software performance, and maintains design and code documentation
  • Experience working on a Scrum Agile Development Team
  • Self starter and problem solver

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $130,000.00 per year
