Job Overview :
As a System Administrator you will be responsible for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting applications infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. As a member of the engineering team you will use your engineering skills to improve Azure, based on customer feedback and insights gained while supporting them. You will troubleshoot IaaS and PaaS related issues, build new automation scripts to troubleshoot and diagnostics system issues.
Responsibilities:
- The Azure Admin/Engineer will be responsible for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting applications on Microsoft Azure
- As a member of the product engineering team you will use your engineering skills to improve Azure, based on customer feedback and insights gained while supporting them
- Troubleshoot IaaS and PaaS related issues
- Build new tools and automation to solve customer problems
- You will also develop tools and scripts to automate troubleshooting and diagnostics activities
- Manage user access and security related requests
- Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment
- Coordinate release management & deployment activities
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in using variety of Azure technologies (e.g. Virtual Machines, Storage, Network, Azure Automation, Azure Backup and Site Recovery Services, Security) to develop and maintain an Azure based cloud solution, with an emphasis on best practice cloud security
- Experience in Scripting Skills:(e.g. PowerShell, Shell)
- Experience in ITIL process on incident, change, configuration management and Governance
- Experience in Virtual Machine administration, storage, network in azure environment including troubleshooting skills
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus
- Strong technical and non-technical communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to details
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired, and ambiguity is the norm.
- BS degree in computer science or related field.
- Certification: AZ-104 Microsoft Azure Administrator is a plus
