The Back Server is responsible for delivering excellence in the guest experience by developing relationships with guests, providing personalized service, anticipating and delivering guests’ needs efficiently. You must possess a genuine appreciation for the hospitality business and have a professional work ethic.

Essential Job Functions Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist servers in every step of service to ensure a seamless dining experience
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Set up, clear and clean tables before, during and after the service
• Polish and stock equipment for operation (silverware, linens & glassware)
• Ensure that guest tables and bus stations are maintained to our standards at all times and in a timely fashion
• Anticipate and accommodate all needs of the guests
• Provides professional and exceptional service while always maintaining a positive attitude
• Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members
• Maintain general cleanliness of stations and entire venue
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of all food menus and the company
• Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
• Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings
• Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings
• Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and great communication skills
• A friendly disposition and proactive nature
• Ability to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
• The ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
• Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion
