We are looking for a detail-oriented quality assurance technician to oversee our quality control processes. You will be responsible for testing our products, reviewing products for compliance, and assessing production procedures. You may also need to train employees on quality standards.

To ensure success as a quality assurance technician, you should possess in-depth knowledge of product standards and have some experience in a similar industry. An outstanding quality assurance technician will be someone whose quality assessment skills translate into products of exceptional quality.

Quality Auditor Responsibilities:

• Primarily be conducting QA audits, and ensuring our Company standards are maintained, and our product integrity is preserved.
• Verifying lot code tracking
• You will work closely with management to resolve any quality, production and or receiving issues.
• Evaluate and take corrective action regarding labeling and product movement.
• Evaluating production stages and testing the composition, appearance, and functionality of completed products.
• Training employees on quality standards and procedures.
• Ensuring that products comply with industry standards.
• Documenting defects and recommendations for improvement.
• Preparing and presenting quality audit reports to management.
• Assuring that production is following industry standards and regulations.
• Ensuring that plant master sanitation schedule is followed and adhered to.
• Support oversight of 3rd party sanitation
• Support QA Manager in SQF compliance

Quality Auditor Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Science or related field from a regionally accredited university, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
• Quality and/or lab experience in food manufacturing is preferred
• Able to read and follow written & verbal instructions.
• Ability to accurately record and interpret data testing results.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of plant and equipment sanitation requirements
• Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
• Demonstrates effective time management.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively within team and with members of other departments.
• Understand science-based principles, formulas, and specifications.
• Mathematical skill (calculate ratios, fractions, percentages, conversions, decimals, etc.).
• Troubleshooting: Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Must have the ability to complete required applicable forms in English, which requires the ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
