We are hiring 2-3 Bartenders for Havana Island BBQ and Cigar Bar! Experience is preferred but not necessary. WE WILL TRAIN those with the right attitude!
Compensation: $10/hr training wage. $5/hr plus tips once training completed. Target Guest Check Average of $45-55+/person. Position is performance based. The best shifts will go to those who maximize sales, and give the best Guest Service. This is a place for hustlers to make great money.
Requirements: 21+ Only. A Solid Work Ethic is Required. Teamwork is non-negotiable. This is an establishment where everything is everyone's responsibility. Experience bartending is great, but we will train those without experience if you have an outstanding attitude. Must be Sales Driven and Guest Focused.
Hours of Operation:
Mon-Thurs: 3pm-11pm
Friday: 3pm-12am
Saturday: Brunch 11am-3pm Dinner 3pm-12am
Sunday: Brunch 11am-3pm Dinner 3pm-12am
Havana Island BBQ and Cigar Bar is located in the heart of Downtown Ann Arbor on Main Street. We focus on packaging Craft Cocktails, Local Craft Beer, Island Inspired BBQ, Tapas, and Hand Picked Wines along with World-Class Guest Service inside a brilliantly designed space. Offering 2 separate floors, the bright and airy Havana Cafe showcases a large walk-in humidor, bright colors, handpicked works of art, and open concept kitchen and a open breezy outdoor patio. Downstairs after slipping past the hidden door in the telephone booth, the Hemingway Bar offers more masculine and rugged textiles. Concrete floors, dim gas-lamp lighting, a long custom made bar mimicking wine barrels, red brick walls, and 20 4k TVs. Think of Ernest Hemingway smoking a cigar sipping a classic lime daiquiri in the corner with pen and paper scratching away his next masterpiece.
