Job Description:
About the Role:
The Batchmaker Back-up (Resource Product Make-up) role at the Green Bay location provides support to the production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
- Relish Batch Making, Brine Making, or Backup Brine Making depending on company need.
- May also work on the line when not making brine or relish products doing various tasks such as putting pickles or peppers in jars and general line housekeeping. Area housekeeping may include checking salt tank level and cleaning when appropriate, cleaning make up tanks, heat exchanger, checking/cleaning/changing breathers, and filters once a month.
- Monitoring and communicating to the line leader the number of batches made/used to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality.
- Being responsible for recognizing and reporting people safety, food safety, and/or quality issues.
Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on 1st shift, which operates from 5am-2:30am Monday through Friday. Saturdays will likely be required from March-November. Shift differential included.
About You:

- Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
- Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
- The ability to work overtime and weekends
