Action Staffing Solutions is seeking experienced and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) for positions throughout Colorado!

Position Summary:
A BCBA ensures that the people served receive the necessary services and supports for stabilization. Those served may include people exhibiting challenging, complicated behaviors that private providers in the community have not been able to adequately address. There is a need for facilities to be specialized in providing robust and comprehensive behavior services so that people served can achieve stabilization treatment and transition back to a private provider in the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• Provide evidence-based behavior analytic programming for people served with a range of IDD, mental health diagnoses, physical disabilities and problematic behavior
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments, develop treatment and behavior plans, monitor behavior programs, analyze data, and provide clinical oversight and supervision to DSTs hwo may or may not hold a specific licensure/credential including Registered Behavior Technicians
• Regularly consult with psychology and medical teams, as well as outside providers to ensure comprehensive and appropriate treatment
• Conduct assessments and provide treatment recommendations; provide data and consultation to the Human Rights committee and interdisciplinary team
• Work rotating on-call shifts if required
• May be required to appear in court to represent the agency in regard to imposition of legal disability hearings, and/or participate in criminal hearings or probation meetings as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Completion of required training as assigned
• Report all incidents, accidents, or potential hazards in accordance with established policies
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
License, Certification, Education:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or a related field
• Current Colorado BCBA certification, or the ability to sit for the BCBA exam within the next year (supervision hours may be available)
• BLS/CPR certification is required

Experience: Four (4) plus years of professional experience in the health professional field including clinical work experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health issues or sex offending issues.

• Documented experience working with:
• Individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
• Individuals with mental health diagnoses
• Individuals with problematic sexual behavior
• Documented experience developing behavior plans (functional behavior analysis, assessments, baselining, restrictive procedures, safety watch guidelines, protection from harm, due process, progress review, data analysis)
• Documented experience providing training theory in a classroom type setting and/or on-site training with return demonstration
• Documented experience participating in individual planning and team process

Requirements:

• Must complete the onboarding and hiring process including application(s), documents, competency testing, background investigation(s) and drug screening
• Backgrounds must be clear of any felony convictions
• Must complete all required training as assigned by Action Staffing Solutions and client/facility pre-assignment and annually including but not limited to sharps injury prevention, HIPAA, and cultural awareness.
• Certifications and Licenses including a current valid driver’s license
• Language: Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language required
• Must have excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to assess situations to make independent, policy compliant decisions
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to serve the population with empathy, while staying objective and assertive. Must be able to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
