Responsibilities and Duties

• Treat every customer that walks through our door with respect and exceptional customer service
• Drive sales by being knowledgeable and recommend additional and complimentary products.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide product knowledge based off needs and future desires for their personal haircare goals.
• Complete sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight products
• Ensure store is kept clean and in order by doing the following on a daily basis: front facing product items, wiping down windows, sweeping the floor, and taking out the trash at the end of the day.
• Stay abreast on current and new trends within the beauty industry.
• Inform customers of trendy styles and products.
• Assist with opening store duties and closing store duties such as but not limited to: counting money at the end of the day, turning on lights in the morning, and making sure products are faced in the morning and evening.
• Assist with inventory tasks such as, but not limited to: putting out new inventory on shipment days, performing correction counts, marking items for clearance as need and with the direction of Store Manager.
• Assist with updating the store by refacing store as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and be customer focused.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work workdays, and weekends; schedules are subject to change.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, and basic mathematics skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift at least 30lbs as needed with the help of other associates during shipment days if needed.
• Basic beauty industry knowledge or the willingness to learn about products and hair care.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a “Can Do” attitude.
• Must be a self-starter and work individually and collaborate as a team.
• Prior retail experience preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full time (2 positions available)

Pay: $8 per hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
