This position will work in York County in 2 community homes designed around people with a dual diagnosis of mental health and IDD who have high needs. Hiring immediately for this position.

This position offers:

• $45,000 per year.
• Full-Time 40 hours a week salaried non traditional flexible schedule, evenings and some weekends necessary.

As a Behavioral Services Specialist, you are responsible for the development of behavioral and social programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses served by CSG in a variety of settings. You will work closely with supervisory and direct service staff to monitor the development and implementation of behavioral programs. This position is responsible for ensuring individuals' rights and quality programming in accordance with the principles of self-determination, positive approaches, recovery and resiliency and CSG policies. You will also:

• Complete motivational and functional assessments of behavioral, social and academic status to evaluate appropriateness for admission, progress in treatment, transfer or discharge.
• Participate in the development of service or treatment plans to determine long and short term goals.
• Train support staff in behavioral management techniques, Trauma Informed Care, WELLE (Behavioral Safety Management & Intervention) and other training topics.
• Conduct training in Review service plans with program specialists to ensure accuracy, thoroughness and recommend revisions as needs change.
• Develop and assist direct service staff in creating goal plans and behavioral support plans.
• Monitor progress through on-site visits, data collection, and periodic assessments to ensure appropriate and adequate programs.
• Participate in team meetings, medical appointments etc. as requested in order to provide guidance and support to staff.
• Provide clinical on-call support.

Qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited college or university with a master's degree in special education, psychology, counseling, social work, education, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or gerontology.
• Two years of direct experience with people with mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, and meetings.
• Have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
