Rise Against Suicide is a 501(c)(3) Colorado-based non-profit organization whose mission is to help youth at risk of suicide by removing the financial and social barriers to treatment, enabling them to find hope and healing. Rise Against Suicide funds mental health therapy sessions for uninsured or underinsured at-risk youth struggling with suicidal ideation in the geographic areas included in Boulder
Valley School District and St. Vrain Valley School District.

The Role
The Bi-Lingual Program Manager will join Rise Against Suicide’s small but mighty team as we embark on an ambitious growth plan to dramatically increase impact and reach more youth, families, and community partners. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Program Manager will be responsible for maintaining our current program and creating new program opportunities. The Program Manager will support the current program impact by building and maintaining strong relationships with community members and serve as a visible ambassador, connector, and relationship-builder with diverse stakeholders. This position will serve as the main point of contact for providers, families, and young people and support the recruitment and enrollment of new referrals. Excellent project management skills, a willingness to take initiative, and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are vital components of this role.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary - $50,000.00- $55,000.00
Full-time (40 hours per week), exempt position

A Typical Week Will Include :

Programming

  • Work with the Executive Director to create, implement, and oversee an annual comprehensive programming plan and calendar
  • Develop and maintain individual relationships with RISE stakeholders
  • Provide oversight and management of programs and projects
  • Prospecting, cultivating, and stewardship of new/existing community partners
  • Maintenance of accurate information in RISE’s referral database
  • Case management, review, processes
  • Quality assurance for referrals
  • In collaboration with the Executive Director, coordinate and track programming development in an accurate and timely fashion
  • In collaboration with the Operations Manager, compile and submit the programming reports
  • Prepare paperwork and order program materials
  • Plan and develop programming in alignment with RISE’s Strategic Plan with Executive Director
  • Ensure implementation of policies and practices
  • Maintain program budget and track expenditures/transactions with Executive Director

Recruiting

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to recruit and maintain contracted providers
  • In collaboration with the Operations Manager, maintain provider paperwork, licensure, and insurance annually

Outreach

  • Creating innovative ways to reach our suicidal youth, their families, and our partners
  • Manage programming communications through media relations, social media etc.
  • Schedule and organize meetings/events with schools, community partners, and contracted Providers
  • Work with community partners to reach out to program participants
  • Present the RISE program to organizations that are interested in partnership
  • Participate in activities and networking events appropriately to maximize exposure for RISE.
  • Lead the Board Outreach Committee and occasionally participate in Board meetings.
  • Attend RISE events and help as needed
  • Join a networking group and represent RISE

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must:

  • 3 years of program experience with a non-profit OR have a bachelor’s degree in a human services or a related field
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally in English and Spanish
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Ability to analyze information and use sound judgment when making recommendations or solving problems
  • Basic skills in computer software programs
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Lift and/or carry 30lbs
  • Sit, stand, and walk for reasonable periods of time
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to travel to the office and to out-of-office work appointments
  • Knowledge in supporting families within marginalized communities
