We are currently looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team. This is a part-time position (25 hours / week). The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in billing and accounts receivable practices, and extremely detail oriented with a great work ethic.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare bills and invoices
- Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform daily financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as billing clerk / accounts receivable clerk
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting records and financial records
- Data entry skills with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must successfully pass background check and drug screening
- College degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
- Three plus years of experience in Accounts Receivable / Billing / Collections
- Monday - Friday, 5 hours / day
- $18-$20 / hour depending on experience
