Job description
This position will play a key leadership role within the laboratory’s Bioprinting Business Unit, in the execution of key strategic scientific projects.

As a bioengineer, the candidate will run key experiments and see products move through experimental design stages to productization, as well as collaborate with other bioengineers, delivering on set milestones, ensuring to meet timelines and present desirable results. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and have demonstrated exceptional communication and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) or equivalent experience in tissue engineering or relevant area of scientific research;
  • Experience with design, execution, and analysis of diverse cell biology and tissue engineering experiments;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Extensive experience documenting, analyzing, interpreting experimental data;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Experience with bioprinting preferred, but not required.

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of mammalian cell culture;
  • 3D culture systems;
  • L/D, IHC, RTPCR, histology and ELISA;
  • Fluorescence and confocal microscopy;
  • Mechanical analysis and characterization;
  • CAD.
