GOBHI has an immediate opening for a full-time Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to work with our Applied Behavior Analysis department. This position, will be based out of the employee’s home office within our Eastern Oregon region and will require some travel to our clinics from time to time.

The Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst provides one-on-one ABA interventions and therapy to children experiencing autism in the clinic, home, or community. Monitor the implementation and execution of behavior intervention training and plans, which are implemented by a Registered Behavior Technician/Interventionist. All therapy and treatments plans are designed with and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Essential duties include:

  • Initiate contact with care providers to welcome and introduce them to the ABA program.
  • Conduct parent training interviews to initiate parent training services.
  • Provide parent training that follows the GOBHI’s Parent Training Phase Program guidelines.
  • Conduct various developmental assessments (VB MAPP, ABLS, Vineland).
  • Under the supervision of the BCBA, write and implement plans for parent training services that follow Medicaid guidelines.
  • Write semi-annual parent training update reports for continued treatment authorization.
  • Under the supervision of an Analyst write comprehensive behavior-analytic treatment plans for children diagnosed with ASD that follow Medicaid guidelines.
  • Provide direct instructions, training and support to the child during regularly scheduled clinic and community based visits.
  • Effectively manage caseload, prepare and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.

What is needed to succeed in this role:

  • Education – Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst certification or the ability to obtain certification by a date agreed upon, Bachelor’s degree in BCaBA or acceptable field.
  • Experience - Two years’ experience working with children experiencing autism or severe behavioral challenges.
  • Communication skills – ability to present, recommend, and listen at a high functioning level
  • Flexible – able to multi-task in response to time-sensitive and changing situations
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and follows through
  • Positive attitude – ability to approach problems in a positive manner
  • Tech Savvy – Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Suites products
  • Complete Covid Vaccination required or a documented reasonable accommodation
  • Maintain a good driving record and required vehicle insurance
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
