Clinical Supervisor for Schools

Job Highlights:

Job Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor for Schools provides individualized behavior intervention services via clinical direction primarily in the school setting, supervision of Behavior Technicians for Schools, Substitute Behavior Technicians, and general case management. Responsibilities may also extend to supporting clients in the community or home if mandated by the school.

Responsibilities:

· Attend Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and/or other interdisciplinary team meetings and, when appropriate, present proposed goals and objectives, behavioral interventions, and possible modifications/adaptations.

· Be available to fill a part or all of a school session if needed in the event that the BTS calls out and a SBTS is not available to fill the shift.

· Collaborate with school personnel by conducting student observations, providing written programming and/or behavioral recommendations, implementing training as necessary, and providing regular follow-up support, as authorized.

· Provide accurate assessment of skills and direct feedback through completion of Performance Management metrics to other clinical team members (i.e., all BTS, SBTS, and PC).

· Provide training, as needed, to teachers, technicians, parents, and/or others utilizing Behavior Skills Training (BST): discussion, modeling, practice and feedback.

· Provide appropriate mentorship and support to other team members.

· Complete administrative responsibilities and accurate client records directly associated with general supervisor requirements and case management across clients (i.e., billing, session notes, incident reports, analysis and summarization of data that drives individualized programming, monthly team meetings, etc.).

· Collaborate with other professionals to ensure continuity and/or coordination of care and maintains a positive relationship with students, teachers, and student’s families.

· Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis, Psychology or Education

· Two years of school-district experience conducting behavior analytic tasks (i.e., data analysis, programming, assessments, running sessions) and/or working with those impacted by pervasive developmental disorders (_required_), across varied client profiles.

· Sensitive to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.

· Effective organization skills, interpersonal skills, time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills; bilingual ability is strongly desired.

· Travel to multiple work sites both locally and within assigned region(s) regularly; reliable transportation needed; proof of valid driver’s license, current auto insurance identification card and registration, and clean Department of Motor Vehicle record; no conviction or pending driving under the influence prior to and during employment with Kadiant.

· CEU credit.

  • Ability to complete the physical demands of the job (e.g., lifting minimum of 30 lbs, frequent standing/sitting, kneeling, and running with children).
  • Sensitive to working with ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse populations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
