Job description

Victory Sign Industries, a national sign company located in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, is accepting applications for the position of Bookkeeper/Accountant I. The ideal candidate must be hands on, able to work well in a team environment, have excellent communication skills, customer focus and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

· Create and submit invoices according to company and customer protocols

· Generate and submit statements and respond to customer billing inquires

· Contact customers regarding outstanding invoices

· Assist in month-end closing including journal entries and accruals

· Knowledge of or willing to learn business license and permit filings

· Knowledge of or willing to learn sales/use tax return filings

· Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately

· Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of General Accounting Principles

· 3+ years advanced Booking experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

· Ability to multi-task with attention to detail

· Excellent organizational skills

· A strong work ethic

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field a plus

Pay: $18+ per hour or salary depending on experience and degree
