Obsidian Integration LLC, produces specialized video products used primarily by state, local and federal law enforcement agencies. These are meaningful products used actively by authorities to do their difficult police and agency work. Our customers include HQ level federal law enforcement to small state-and-local agencies. We supply products to customers all over the United States and Canada. Our mission critical products include standard and custom builds. We design and build some very cool stuff.
We are seeking a bookkeeper based in our West Eugene offices. Our business purchases combinations of goods, materials and other finished electronics and related components which are built into final assembled products and kits. This requires handling of several different classes of purchasing, software BOM creation and assembly. Due to the nature of what we design and build, the bookkeeping for our business can be somewhat complex.
This person must have solid Quickbooks experience, and experience with Quickbooks Desktop Manufacturing edition is a plus. An individual with related experience in lite manufacturing, electronics, electro-mechanical and related physical goods accounting is helpful. Individuals with experience in BOM creation, management and use in inventory management (e.g. sub-assemblies and assembly creation in Quickbooks) will be helpful. Individuals should have experience with AR/AP, Vendor Interaction, Procurement, PO Creation and Receipt and similar. The bookkeeper will work closely with the Operations Manager to assist with payments, receipts, BOMs, inventory availability and fulfillment stages to ensure company software is in alignment with physical goods. The individual will also be responsible for coordinating bill payments, remitting state sales taxes, new customer account setups, and related.
