SALARY: $50,000-$55,000 base salary (commensurate with experience) with a competitive commission package. With the commission package, candidates can anticipate making between $65,000-$70,000.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Box Office Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership to facilitate and support sales and service initiatives for the Inland Empire 66ers and San Manuel Stadium events. The Box Office Manager directs and oversees all aspects of the box office's daily operation and provides unsurpassed customer and guest service. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in ticketing, staff management, and customer service. Experience with Tickets.com is a plus!
The Box Office Manager will also oversee the Ticketing Department and Season Ticket Sales. The candidate will be responsible for driving ticket sales and revenue for the Inland Empire 66ers. The candidate will sell tickets across all menus including groups, full and partial season packages, and premium seats.
Responsibilities of this Position:
- Create new season ticket packages and oversee the season ticket department
- Maintain current season ticket holder packages
- Cold-calling, networking, and all necessary sale processes to capture new business
- Assist and support box office staff in any of their job functions, as needed.
- Ensure complete and satisfactory ongoing staff training.
- Recruit and hire staff/supervisors to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Oversees the internal controls of daily box office operations.
- Coordinates event information between promoter, facility personnel and the ticket company, including
pricing and seating configurations. - Responsible for financial settlement and accountability of all revenues collected from ticket sales and ancillary income for events.
- Complete and distribute accurate daily ticket counts.
- Responsible for scheduling and payroll control.
- Balance and reconcile all ticket seller cash drawers on a daily basis.
- Create, modify and maintain inventory for all ticketed events in a computerized ticketing environment.
- Develop and maintain superior customer service both in person and via phone.
- Perform additional duties as directed
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A four (4) year degree in business administration, sport management or related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of box office/ticketing-related experience, including supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Tickets.com ideal
- Skill and working knowledge of computerized ticketing operations and software (Tickets.com, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), guest relations & phone etiquette, long-term and immediate decision making, verbal / written communication, accounting/cash management procedures.
- Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
