Vegetable and Butcher is a food startup making healthy eating remarkably simple by delivering fresh, flavorful, locally prepared meals to your doorstep. In less than five years, we’ve delivered more than 500,000 meals. And we’re just getting started.

We’re on a mission to help people [re]establish a more meaningful relationship with food—and trying to help save the planet along the way. Our meals come in compostable containers, and we deliver them in reusable cooler bags with reusable ice packs.

Our growth has created a need for an experienced Box Truck Driver who will serve as an integral part of our Fulfillment Operations Team.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure that all appropriate route racks are packed securely in the box truck at the beginning of shift
• Drive Box Truck to pre-appointed location to create alternative pick-up location. At this secondary location, the Box Truck Driver should provide all necessary collateral (keys, etc.) to drivers and help them load bags into their vehicles
• Once the box truck is returned to the location, Box Truck driver should help any late or second-window delivery drivers to load/unload their vehicles
• Make sure that all spaces are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion

Qualifications and Skills:

• Clean motor vehicle record
  

• Enthusiasm for our company mission and values

• Attention to detail

What May Make You Stand Out:

• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  
• Experience in food handling
