Our vertically integrated facility in Somerset, MA houses our cultivation operation, product manufacturing, and recreational retail dispensary. Our Seekonk retail location opened in December 2021. Our Dartmouth, MA and Warwick, RI locations are expected to open early 2023.

Position

We are looking for a part time Brand Ambassador to join our team here at Solar Cannabis Co.! This position will be responsible for attending pop up events and other various industry events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability and cannabis!

Responsibilities

• Attend various industry events as scheduled, either alone, or working in tandem with and in support of the Brand Experience Coordinators.
• Represent the Solar brand (its house of brands) and company in a positive and professional manner that is in keeping with Solar’s brand and image
• Engage Consumers with the goal of driving Brand awareness and retail foot traffic
• Brand Ambassadors would be expected to be wearing Solar attire at all events
• Provide basic product information to industry professionals and consumers alike
• Build and maintain positive relationships with industry professionals and consumers alike
• Maintain a social media presence, including content creation, to support all brand initiatives

Qualifications

• Educational or experiential background in marketing, business, project management, communications/PR, or the arts preferred
• Interest in the cannabis industry
• Knowledge of adult-use marijuana policy and law
• Must be willing to travel
• Must be familiar with social media usage
• Ability to communicate clear and effectively
• Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude

Requirements

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must pass all required background checks.
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends.
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
• Occasionally moves up to 30 pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance).
• This job function may include being in a stationary position or moving for extended periods of time.
