Job Summary
Craftsmen skilled in all aspects of refractory material and anchor system installation. Has an individual responsibility for the quality refractory installation. Direct labor employees to ensure that they are constantly supplied with the necessary material and equipment needed to maintain a productive workforce. Able to install anchor systems for refractory installation and pass numerous skill level tests to qualify as a journeyman. Operate gunite equipment, install refractory brick and have experience ramming plastic refractories.
Qualifications:
- API or NCEER refractory certifications recommended.
- Welding certification recommended.
- Three (3) or more years refractory work experience.
- Refractory journeyman qualification.
