Delta Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, & Landscape Architects, DPC (Delta) is a growing, multidisciplinary AEC firm founded in 1976 and based in the Southern Tier of New York State with additional offices in Central New York and Chevy Chase, MD. WHO WE NEED

We are seeking a versatile and team-oriented Bridge Engineer to join our Transportation Group. This position can be located within any of Delta s offices, or could be a fully remote position. This candidate will lead the development of bridge projects and must be proficient in structural analysis and design of bridges using current AASHTO codes. Proficiency with various bridge design software and Microsoft Office is required. Experience with State DOT projects and MicroStation/InRoads is desirable. Good Communication skills, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. A PE license or near term ability to secure one is preferred. This is a hands-on position with duties that include:

• Performing bridge analyses/designs for various bridge types. Our design software includes but is not limited to Merlin Dash, LEAP Bridge, InRoads, MicroStation, STAAD, and SAP 2000.
• Supervising/coordinating the work of other engineers and/or technicians who assist with specific assignments. Our team is energetic and enjoys collaborating / sharing skills.
• Interfacing/communicating with clients and subconsultants.
• Presenting in front of clients/public. Our clients range state level agencies to local municipalities to other engineering firms (as a subconsultant)
• Being responsible for meeting project deadlines and budgets. Our group meets weekly to discuss workload and staff assignments.
