Position Summary: Performs mammographic procedures at a technical and professional level not requiring constant supervision. Must assume responsibility for exercising independent judgment, initiative, and ingenuity in insuring quality images and pertinent information for diagnosis by the interpreting physician. Responsible for performing at the level required by the FDA through the MQSA of 1994 and must maintain all data, statistics, follow-up, processing, policies, and procedures specified by the MQSA
Minimum Qualifications:- Completion of a two year American Medical Association approved course in Radiologic Technology or other accredited and approved medical imaging program.
- Certified by the ARRT or registry available.
- Maintains a current license as a Radiologic Technololgist by the State of WV.
- Advanced certification in Mammography with ARRT within one year of employment.
- CPR certification.
