    This is a straight contract position but client may offer FT employment if it's a good fit. They would ideally like someone that can come into the office full time or frequently, but may consider someone hybrid if they will come in at least when needed or a couple days a week. Target pay rate is between $60-85/HR and can be C2C, prefer they not be an H1B in case they want to convert but will submit good 3rd party candidates in the range if necessary.

    Job Description

    The HR Business Systems Analyst will support the planning, design, development and launch of Bragg Companies’ Human Capital Management applications and associated technology-based solutions. The role will examine and evaluate business processes and information reporting requirements for all business units, including Bragg Companies, Coastline Equipment and Total-Western, Inc. This professional will partner with consulting experts and business SME’s to develop and implement best practices for processes, data structures, internal controls and reporting. The Business Systems Analyst will own the delivery of software and business process for key solutions, including the Docebo Learning Management System (LMS), the current Arocoro HCM application and a potential new HCM application.

    The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for preparing process documentation, defining key internal controls, preparing functional specifications for reports, interfaces and conversions, developing test plans and educational materials; and executing all tests related to implementations and upgrades. The role is also responsible for end-user support for new software and associated business processes, including troubleshooting issues and documenting requests for future enhancements.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work collaboratively with Human Resources, Finance and Operating business partners to gather requirements and design business processes and operational reports in support of HCM Application, including Arcoro HR and Docebo LMS.
    • Identify opportunities to improve business processes leveraging the HCM software and the Microsoft Power Platorm. Implement processes that are accurate, streamlined, and well documented with an emphasis on providing timely and accurate financial data to the business.
    • Prepare deliverables, including process flows and scripts, key internal controls, test plans, functional specifications for reports, interfaces and conversions and end-user education materials. The position may also author reports utilizing PowerBI and other report development tools.
    • Partner with other Business Systems Analysts on the integration of Human Resources and Payroll with other applications, including GL and Job Cost.
    • Develop and codify the highest leverage performance metrics related to the HCM. Design and deliver reports that help optimize business performance and support internal controls.
    • Build the capabilities of end-users to access and use the data in a rigorous manner that is foundational to sound decision-making and ongoing reporting accuracy. Develop materials and provide training that establishes the required initial user acumen and can be leveraged for ongoing educational needs.
    • Partner with cloud application vendors to ensure systems are performing as designed, information is timely and accurate and end-users are functioning effectively on the new platform. Prioritize and resolve system issues. Identify and prioritize future enhancement requests.

    Qualifications

    Specialty/Job-Related knowledge, skills & abilities:
    • Proven track record of leveraging information systems to drive process improvements.
    • Excellent project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work. Familiarity with system implementation best practices and methodologies.
    • Experience with documenting functional requirements and design specifications for systems implementations.
    Industry-specific knowledge, skills & abilities:
    • Familiarity with HR and Payroll practices for the construction industry is preferred.

    Education and/or on-the-job experience:
    • Two to five years of professional experience HCM system implementation and service industry experience is highly desired.
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT or equivalent.
    • Hands on experience with at least one ERP system conversion and the Human Resources and Payroll modules. Experience with Docebo LMS is a plus.
