The Opportunity

Cornerstone Brands is looking for a passionate Business Analyst with a background in retail operations who enjoys collaborating across IT and business departments. You will be part of a team responsible for supporting our users through a transformational project to replace the current ERP systems with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

You will be the bridge between team members and IT to translate gaps and enhancements into functional requirements for the technical team. As we move beyond the implementation phases of this project you will continue to partner with agile project teams and change management to define scope, user stories, acceptance criteria, and document changes for distribution to our users.

Your Impact

Be subject matter expert supporting users across business departments and IT answering functional questions and help map current business processes to the new system.

Enable communication between business and technology teams translating business process gaps and enhancement requests into requirements for the IT teams.

You will report to the Manager of IT Applicatiions

Partner with the change management team to document functional designs and processes for distribution to users

Work with IT teams to break requirements down into user stories and assist with prioritization of configuration changes and new features

Partner with the business and Finance on business case development and cost benefit analysis of implementing new functionality

What You Bring

  • Bachelors Degree, technical equivalent or work experience required
  • 2+ years of functional experience with Microsoft ERP systems (Microsoft AX2009/AX2012)
  • Desired Retail experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Salesforce, Oracle, NetSuite, BlueYonder, Sterling or SAP
  • 3+ years of experience documenting requirements, business process modeling, and user story creation
  • 3+ years of experience as business analyst on IT system development projects.
  • 3+ years of experience working in the retail industry (B2B or B2C)
  • Ability to develop materials and present to several levels of leadership
  • Call Center, Inventory Purchasing and Management, POS, and Finance responsibilities inside Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
  • Understanding of important systems that integrate to Dynamics such as Website orders, Warehouse Management, Vendor EDI, and Payments
  • Record of working with users to analyze current processes and assist users in making the best use of systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
