Business Clerk - Parking Office
Job description
This position collects, counts, and reconciles all cash, coin, and credit card revenues generated from customers, provides excellent customer service to all parking related inquiries. Serves as first point of contact for parking citation appeals and adjudication. Responsible for coordinating special event parking on campus and the issuance of permits based on the waitlist/move list status

What you'll do:
- Collect, count and reconcile all cash, coin and credit card revenues generated from customers.
- Provide excellent customer service to all parking-related inquiries.
- Serve as first point of contact for parking citation appeals and adjudication.
- Be responsible for coordinating special event parking on campus and the issuance of permits based on the wait list/move list status.
- Perform clerical duties including, but not limited to, data entry, filing, faxing, scanning and emailing.
- Work closely with the DMV and University Police Department.
Pay Grade: 11. WVU provides competitive wages for its employees, and takes related experience and education into consideration when determining appropriate salary.
Up to 18 months of education beyond high school, or an equivalent amount of directly related experience.
At lease one (1) year of experience in the following:
- High volume cash handling operations
- Fund handling and basic accounting
- Customer service
- Working with databases
Cash/funds handling certification
Light physical effort involving stooping and bending on a daily basis
Long periods of standing, sitting and bending may be required during renewal periods
Lifting money bags weighing up to 50 lbs daily
