Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst I serve to provide organizational leadership with data driven insights to help advise decision-making. The primary responsibilities for the Business Intelligence Analyst include development of metrics and key performance indicators, ad hoc reporting, scorecard & dashboard development, and project management for key strategic, operational, and clinical initiatives.
Minimum Required:
- Associates Degree and 2 years of experience in professional healthcare operations, accounting, finance, process improvement, quality, supervision or management of an operational unit, business or financial analysis.
- If no degree, 4 years of experience in professional healthcare operations, accounting, finance, process improvement, quality, supervision or management of an operational unit, business or financial analysis.
Additional Specialized Knowledge/Skills
- Technically proficient skills using business intelligence solutions like SAP Business Objects and Data Visualization Software (Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics, Power BI, etc.). Epic or Clarity Report development a plus.
- Proficient to advanced skills using Microsoft Excel
- Professional verbal and written communication skills including the development and execution of professional presentations
- Project management skills, including the ability to act with independence and self-direction, ability to manage project and team expectations, and ability to set realistic deadlines and meet expectations
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, internal, and external customers
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong listening and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to learn in a complex environment
