American Credit Acceptance is looking for talented individuals to join our Operations team, where you will learn our business specifically on the servicing side or the originations side, and make a meaningful impact on our growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.

In this role you will:

  • Learn the necessary technologies and toolsets
  • Work as part of Product Teams to innovate and execute quickly with Agile methodologies
  • Improve our customer experience
  • Work with executives, business leaders and subject matter experts across the company to achieve results
  • Ensure our business partners and associates have reliable processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Improve existing process and develop new ones
  • Learn about the finance industry
  • Build the skills to be a leader in the business world

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, organize, and analyze information
  • Contribute and execute on multiple projects
  • Provide daily support for departmental operations
  • Perform statistical analyses to support business decisions
  • Provide insight for process improvement across functional areas
  • Contribute to accurate goal setting, clear communication, and precise execution of company objectives
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
  • Finance, Accounting or Economics majors preferred but analytical liberal arts majors absolutely considered.
  • Professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work, and/or extra-curricular activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new things with initiative and courage.
  • Demonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to quickly assess problems and find workable solutions
  • The skills to synthesize information, distill relevant facts and reach logical conclusions
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a deadline driven environment, and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
