Senior Business Systems Analyst
6 Month Contract-to-Hire
Remote (Preferred Locations: Chicago, IL, Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, PA)
$60-70/hr. DOE
Brooksource is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join the Enterprise-Wide Systems (EWS) group at our Fortune 100 Energy client. Our client recently went through an enterprise-wide company severance causing the need to clone application portfolios into the new company’s environment. Because of this, a Business Systems Lead is needed to create architectural diagrams to ensure all application portfolios are cloned and up and running in the new domain. The selected Business Systems Analyst will be asked to perform IT operational support activities relating to our Client’s Financial Applications Portfolio. The selected individual will work to possess an architectural understanding of the finance application ecosystem and how the integrations and technical application layers work together. Additionally, he/she/they will be asked to coordinate small enhancement work within the finance portfolio. Proper work management skills, architectural skills, and technical skills are required. Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Systems or related field.
- Experience working in an application support role on a major IT Portfolio: HR; Finance; Supply/AP; etc.
- Experience creating architectural diagrams.
- Experiencing with SaaS applications.
- Experience with performing, documenting and assisting in planning work activities relating to IT operations, processes, and enhancements.
- Experience enhancing, maintaining or supporting existing IT products and processes to the defined service level agreement.
- Experience creating and maintaining a project plan and schedule and driving resources and activities to stay on schedule.
- Experience managing meetings with various teams: business, IT, vendors, etc.
- Experience with creating meeting notes and keep an issue decisions list.
- Experience maintaining engagement with business and IT partners.
- Experience utilizing best practices to improve products and services.
- Functional and technical expertise in some of the core financial applications is a plus; but not required.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Perform IT operational support activities relating to our client's Financial Applications.
- Resolve application technical support issues.
- Primary focus is "keeping the lights on" for the 54 applications in the Finance application portfolio.
- Develop an architectural understanding of the Finance application ecosystem and how the integrations and technical application layers work together.
- Define and coordinate small enhancement work within the Finance portfolio.
- Will spend much time overseeing and coordinating work of Infosys Finance Offshore resources who are a strategic partner of our client in supporting the Finance IT function.
- Proper work management skills, architectural skills, and technical skills are required.
- Proactively build business/IT knowledge to provide solutions.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
