Job description

Job Description: MP Nexlevel is seeking cable installers (entry level or higher) for the installation of communication systems.

Job Duties:

  • Pulling cable, pulling innerduct, dressing cables, labeling, fiber cleaning, etc. to industry and customer standards.
  • Carry and load materials to be used on the job.
  • Maintain professional appearance.
  • Must be willing to work both outside and inside during the summer and winter months.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
  • Safety training as required by position.
  • Wash and clean vehicles and equipment.
  • Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed.
  • Remedial online safety training.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Have a strong ability to problem solve.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well with others and come to work with a positive attitude.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment and continuing random background, drug and MVR screenings.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Class A Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Experience working with telecommunications systems.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be physically fit to endure the daily activity involved with the job.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Typical Hours:

  • 40 hours/week with overtime potential

Pay:

  • VERY Competitive wages & FULL BENEFITS

Travel:

  • Local work but travel may be available if desire
