Title: Survey Office CAD Technician
Location: Annapolis, MD
Duration: Full-Time / Direct Hire

General Responsibilities:

Working independently under the supervision of the licensed surveyors the individual will be responsible for the preparation and reduction of survey related projects. Duties that will be required of the qualified candidate include but are not limited to the following tasks.

• Deed and plat research utilizing online databases such as plats.net and mdlandrec.net along with other GIS applications.
• Coordination communication with the managers
• Boundary analysis and calculations
• Topographic surveys and the ability to work with surfaces.
• ALTA/NSPS survey drafting and the ability to examine the corresponding title work.
• Preparation of subdivision plats, descriptions, and easement exhibits.
• Assist with construction stakeout layout and the preparation of cutsheets.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong mathematical skills
• 3+ years of work experience in both field and/or office applications
• Working knowledge of Maryland COMAR standards relating to land surveying
• The ability to efficiently utilize Civil 3D 2018+ in the preparation and reduction of work
• The ability to utilize Trimble Business Center for processing scan data is a plus (will train)
• The ability to utilize Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• The ability to work with others in an efficient manor
