We're looking for a dedicated and talented Program Lead* to become part of our t*eam.
Your schedule will be 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. ($15 per hour), or other schedule agreed upon by the employee and Chief Executive Officer.
Here's what you'll be doing:
Competencies and Responsibilities
Clear and Effective Communicator
- Keeping leadership aware of any issues or potential issues within the school community or community at large that could have a negative impact on the day to day functioning of the high school environment.
- When speaking with or to scholars, maintaining the utmost level of professionalism.
- Communicating important information such as positive reports and actions, scholars not following the code of conduct or expected cafe/hallway etiquette, to leadership, and families when necessary.
- Documentation of any maladaptive behavior or conversations in ALMA notes.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality.
Supervision
- Supervising high school scholars during all lunches.
- Resolving conflicts and issues between scholars.
- Providing rewards and consequences to scholars for meeting cafeteria expectations.
- Direct the movement of groups of scholars to and from the cafeteria.
- Ensure that appropriate safety standards in the cafeteria are adhered to by all scholars.
Maintenance
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the cafeteria or cafeteria area, including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and disposing of trash.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate and relevant experience
