Overview:
The primary role of the Representative, Contact Center is to assist Dental Offices with scheduling, canceling and rescheduling appointments for dental examinations and/or dental treatment. Contact Center Representatives must exhibit positive behaviors and excellent communications skills. They need to be committed to achieving their predetermined goals while working within the framework of the Contact Center policies.

Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls to assist new and existing patients with scheduling, canceling and rescheduling appointments for dental examinations and/or dental treatment
  • Demonstrate excellent telephone skills while making outbound telephone calls to Dental Offices, and to Dental Office patients
  • Respond to patient appointment requests from various Dental Offices websites
  • Ability to handle inbound calls while navigating multiple systems of record
  • Accurately schedule appointments utilizing predetermined dental office scheduling procedures
  • Responsible for verifying patient insurance coverage to ensure eligibility
  • Effectively and accurately send correspondence emails to Dental Offices
  • Learn, and actively participate in The Perfect Patient Experience by demonstrating a positive attitude and doing everything you can to ensure patients’ needs are met
  • Pass all basic guide tests pertaining to your position within 90-Days of accepting this position
  • Ability to handle emergency requests for treatment and/or pain management
  • Participate in meetings as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Required
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 2 years Customer Service Experience (Call Center, Retail, Restaurant, etc.)

Preferred
  • Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to multi-task across various systems of record without compromising the quality of the work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from patients, dental office, laboratories, pharmacies and staff
  • Self-motivated, reliable and capable of working independently as well as within in team environment
  • Ability to learn and retain detailed information regarding the various dental procedures
