Job Overview:

The Cultivation/Clone Technician provides daily care of plants from seed or clone to drying. The Cultivation Technician will provide quality care and attention to the growing process, which includes pruning, trimming, and fertigation. The Cultivation Technician will assist with harvesting the plants and processing the plants through the hanging and curing process. Clone Technicians will assist in all nursery operations: cutting clones from mother plants and ensuring their health and productivity until transfer to cultivation or sale. Clone Techs will be responsible for meeting daily cut quotas, maintenance of mother plants, and adherence to quality control SOPs.

Reports To:

Cultivation Manager & Nursery Manager

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

-Daily care of cannabis plants, including watering, pruning, and trimming, inspecting the plants.

-Fertilizing and providing nutrients according to the cultivation protocols.

-Careful monitoring of the plants for any problems.

-Continuous systematic cleaning and sanitizing of grow facility and tools.

-Carefully follow directions as provided by the Cultivation Manager.

-Willingness to continue to learn best practices of cannabis cultivation with a strong interest in horticulture.

-Additional job duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

-Horticulture, agriculture, or related field is preferred. We will provide comprehensive training.

-Strong desire to work in cultivation and willingness to quickly learn about growing and harvesting cannabis plants.

-High level of integrity and strong work ethic.

-Strong interpersonal skills; team player.

-Demonstrate ability to work comfortably and effectively within a diverse, multicultural, multigenerational environment.

-Must be willing to have a Live Scan completed.

-Must be at least 21, with a valid State ID, with a clean record, and able to pass additional background screening.

Experience Required:

-1-2 years in-house or commercial grow experience is REQUIRED.

-Strong work ethic and willingness to work hard to ensure plants are given ongoing attention and required care.

-Willingness to continue to learn and grow with the company, improve cultivation skills and gain greater knowledge of cultivation processes.

-Ability to work as a part of a team to achieve company goals.

-Ability to work weekends.

-Ability to work extended days on an occasional basis.

-Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.

-MUST HAVE A RELIABLE SOURCE OF TRANSPORTATION.

Physical Requirements:

-The Cultivation Technician position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching during an 8 hour shift.

-Ability to lift 30-40 pounds without assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 per hour
