The responsibilities include helping seniors thrive from the comfort of their home by building lasting relationships, engaging in household activities, and assisting in personal hygiene care (toileting, bathing, etc.) 

Home Instead provides non-medical care that allows seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation

• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

• Running errands, driving to appointments, shopping

• Medication reminders, assistance or administration

• Assistance with bathing, grooming and dressing

• Assistance with personal care including toileting and incontinence issues

• Providing stabilization and assistance with walking and transferring

• Alzheimer/Dementia and Hospice care

Care providers  must:  

• Be able to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect

• Be able and willing to lift 25 lbs.

• Be at least 18 years old

• Pass a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screening

• Must have a valid Driver's License, current auto insurance and reliable vehicle

• Have previous experience caring for the elderly (personal or professional)
