We are currently hiring for an outstanding individual to join our team! Full-time position available!

We are hiring for an overnight NOC position. The shift runs from Wednesday through Tuesday, 7days on, 7 days off. The shift start time can be flexible from 7-11 pm and would end at 7am the following morning.

Rita's Place requires all employees to be at least 21 years of age.

Rita's Place is a group foster home for 8 teenage girls who come from diverse and wide ranging backgrounds ages 12-18. We support and address their emotional, mental and physical needs, as well as correct and discourage any negative behavior patterns. Our goal is to help prepare them so they can be successful the moment they leave Rita's Place and into adulthood.

Examples of the supports we provide are as follows:

• Overseeing residents when taking care of their daily responsibilities which include: assisting with dinner, homework, laundry, chores, and hygiene.
• Administer, coordinate, or recommend disciplinary and corrective actions.
• Answer telephones, and route calls or deliver messages.
• Chaperone group-sponsored trips and social functions.
• Communicate with case managers, group home manager, or program director to resolve problems with individual residents.
• Compile and report information about residents' daily activities.
• Administer afternoon and evening medications.
• Confer with group home manager in order to better understand the backgrounds and needs of individual residents.
• Assist residents in the handling of issues such as family, financial, and educational problems.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure the smooth and orderly operation of group home life.
• Make regular rounds to ensure that residents and areas are safe and secure at all times, including overnight supervision.
• Mediate interpersonal problems between residents.
• Observe residents thoroughly to detect and report unusual behavior.
• Provide emergency first aid and summon medical assistance when necessary.
• Provide transportation or escort for expeditions such as medical visits, home visits, and fun activities throughout the week.
• Help take care of daily household tasks that a normal home would require.
