Here’s how a Carpenter Apprentice for our Denver District, contributes to our team:

The duties and responsibilities listed here represent the minimum requirements for this position. It is expected that employees will seek out opportunities to contribute to their project team and to the company beyond the items listed below.

• Operate hand and power tools
• Maintain safe work areas and identify hazards associated with task assignments
• Load / unload materials as needed (up to 50 pounds)
• Assist in erecting frameworks for structures, lay subflooring, build stairs, lay out / install partitions
• Assist with fit and install prefabricated window frames, doors, door frames, weather stripping, basic door hardware (interior and exterior)
• Assist with framing and hanging drywall
• Assist with constructing forms for placing concrete
• Assist with erecting scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level

• Ability to operate light equipment is helpful, not required
• No commercial carpentry experience required
• Successful candidates must be willing to travel and relocate as needed, be able to pass a drug screen as well as random drug screening throughout employment, and be authorized to work in the United States

The salary range for this position is between $18.00 and $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
