Job Summary

Responsible for the billing & collections of client services by generating, submitting and responding to inquiries relating to these services. The following Key responsibilities are representative of the types and kinds of duties that maybe required of employees in this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred at least five years experience in a medical billing position
• Requires knowledge of UB/HCFA billing codes, CPT codes, ICD-9 coding
• Requires knowledge of 837 billing processes, 835 processes, 270/271 processes
• Proficient at keyboarding and computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet and Client Accounts software
• Able to organize and demonstrate multi-tasking skills
• Ability to analyze problems and focus on detail
