Title - Medical Front Office Cashier

Location – Phoenix, AZ

Pay Rate – $16.45/Hr on W2

Duration – 3+ months

Type – Contract

Work hours - Mon to Fri 8:00 am-5:00 pm

We are hiring a Medical Records Front Office Clerk for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Description:

• Registers clients into clinics by entering demographic information obtained from the client into various computer programs.
• Ensures all forms are completed properly and signed, and that all necessary information is correctly input into the computer system.
• Serves as a cashier at registration by computing and recording transactions Receives payments by cash, check, credit cards, or automatic debits.
• Issues receipts, refunds, credits, or determines and provides change due to customers. Counts money and balances cash drawers at the end of the shift to ensure that amounts are correct Scans and assembles records according to departmental procedure "Releases patient information only as appropriate per applicable laws and policies. " "Releases patient information only as appropriate per applicable laws and policies.

Skills required:

• Cashiering or cash handling
• Working in a fast-paced environment-Customer service

Experience Required:

• Six (6) months of experience registering patients in an electronic medical records system in a front office medical setting.
• Scanning, Release of medical records.
• Front Office Medical Experience

Education Required:

• High School Diploma.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $16.45 per hour

• Morning shift

• Monday to Friday

Experience:
