SUMMARY

Responsible for providing customers with exceptional customer service and sales assistance in an efficient and courteous manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through friendly and informative sales service.
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing).
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing.
• Ensure displays are fully stocked and cleaned regularly.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered.
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases.
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers.
• Receive and accurately process cash and credit card payments.

SKILLS

• Understanding of the retail sales process.
• Basic math skills.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships.
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to various work shifts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• One (1) year of smoke shop experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to:

• Stand, walk, sit, (up to 8 hours) balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Lift, push, pull and/or move objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds.
