JOB SUMMARY:
Accountable for the pleasant greeting and distribute menus to each guest. Provide information as to the name of their server, specials of the day, etc. Receive payment from the customers and/or servers for services rendered in restaurants. Assume other dining room duties as assigned.

FUNCTIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Be aware of your appearance at all times. Uniforms must by clean daily, nametags must be worn and hair must be well kept out of the face.- Give prompt, attentive, and courteous service to guest at all times, according to the company standards.
- Perform all opening and closing side duties, as assigned per shift requirement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of menu and current prices.
- Responsible for a $200.00 House Bank.
- Understand and follow the Cash Handling and House Bank procedures and policies.
- Extensive knowledge of hours of operation for all hotel functions.
- Available at all times for immediate guest service including phone calls, not limited to F&B operations.
- Be cross-trained on all dining room duties and work as assigned.
- Knowledge of dining room menu, bar menu, daily specials and soup.
- Always be aware of guests needs.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Return any items left in the restaurant to the front desk/lost and found.
- Be aware of workers around you, use phrases like behind you to let them know you are there
- Must have good phone skills.
- Accurate mathematical skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Able to read, write and verbally communicate with co-workers and guests / customers.
- Help promote teamwork by helping fellow employees when you are caught up with your duties.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Ability to twist or bend- Ability to stand, or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work inside with others/alone
CERTIFICATE/LICENSE:
Employment Eligibility for the United States
High School graduate or equivalent required- Excellent customer service skill
- Ability to handle multiple tasks
- Must possess excellent oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain a positive and fun workplace
- Cashiering experience preferred
