Position: Casino Cashier- Cadillac Jack's Gaming Resort, Deadwood SD
Reports To: General Manager
Salary range: $15 hourly onwards (including tips)
Full and part time positions available!
$1000 sign-on bonus!!!!
The Casino Cashier is responsible for controlling and accounting of transactions completed at the cage windows. The Casino Cashier performs transactions with high volume cash and performs non-cash transactions for our guests in a courteous, accurate and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide legendary guest service with respect, passion and dedication.
- Process Credit and Debit card advancements, cash personal checks and exchange cash, chips and tickets for guest.
- Process all transaction accurately and with integrity.
- Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Enter patron transactions into the company computer system accurately.
- Prepare paperwork, balance sheets and documents in accordance with our standards and procedures.
- Strictly adhere to department policies and procedures in order to maintain integrity of the Cage operation.
- Apply accurate transaction and balancing practices.
- Transfer cash, chips and checks between cages and/or departments in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
- Promote positive public/team member relations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:- Must be 21 years of age, and must be able to obtain a gaming license with the South Dakota Gaming Commission.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
- Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
- Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment while adhering to strict guidelines and controls. Must be detail oriented.
