Catering Manager 1
Job description
The Catering Manager is responsible for partnering with our client to plan outstanding catered events. Duties of this position include, developing menus, facilitating transportation of equipment and service, room decoration, procuring rental equipment and determining appropriate staffing levels. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience as a catering manager to include 2 years as a supervisor in a large commercial restaurant, hotel, catering or institution. Preference may be given to candidates who possess a Bachelors degree in culinary arts or related field. This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds.
