A top healthcare organization in Central Florida is looking for an experienced clinician to become their Acute Care Hospital Cardiac Cath Lab Supervisor. The Cath Lab Supervisor will report to the Department Manager and work collaboratively with a great group of physicians and staff. They will be responsible for monitoring the day to day clinical operations of the 4 bed Cardiac Cath Lab and 10 bed pre/post unit. Department modalities include Electrophysiology, Interventional Radiology, Vascular, and STEMI cases and the monthly average is 250 cases. The Supervisor will mentor and guide staff to ensure high-quality care is given. They will coordinate the department schedule and patient flow, maintain records of radiation safety, hire and orient new staff, participate in process improvement initiatives, maintain compliance and ensure regulations are met. They will over see 23 FTEs and be accountable for supporting the organization's mission and vision.
TheCath Lab Supervisor must have an Associate Degree in Cardiopulmonary Technology, Cardiovascular Technology,Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Care, or Nursing. They must also have 3 years of clinical experience. The Supervisor should have critical thinking skills and effective communication. This position is a mix of Administrative and Clinical duties, so this individual should possess strong clinical skills in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
