Job description
Collin County Adventure Camp seeks highly motivated facilitators with a love for the outdoors for its outstanding Group Retreats program on the weekends for this year-round program.
Collin County Adventure Camp is located on 430 acres of plush forest and Blackland prairie just 15 minutes northeast of McKinney, TX and serves thousands of participants.
Duties: Facilitating activities for our Group Retreats such as: Canoeing and fishing, archery and BB’s, low and high ropes elements, Paintball, zip lining, etc.
Desired, but not required: Driver’s license, CPR, and First Aid (or willingness to be trained upon hire).
Pay: $60-$65 Per Day. Meals provided.
- Applicants need to be available all day Saturday and Sunday.
- Comfortable with social settings, facilitating conversations that will give guests their best experience.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, flexibility and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be professional, reliable, responsible and innovative to achieve exceptional customer service
- Must be physically able to lead strenuous outdoor activities with guest, perform light manual work, be mentally alert to recognize potential hazards and accidents, mentally able to follow set procedures and physically and mentally able to respond to emergencies.
- Ability to thrive in a work environment that is never the same day twice, be self-motivated and have pride in a job well done
