Schedule: 42 Hrs - Friday, Saturday, Sunday OR Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday

A growing US Mail Hauler in the Western Region is looking for Class A Tractor Trailer Truck Drivers in Reno NV with exposure to US Mail hauling and/or operations and experience driving under inclement weather conditions. Enjoy the opportunity to stay local and come home every night! Rotating schedules, 40 hour 3-Day work schedules w/ 4 days off, or 54 hour 4 day work schedules with 3 days off

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Licensing and Certifications :

• Must be 25 years or older.
• Must have good driving record (MVR)
• Possession of a valid Commercial Class A Driver’s License.
• 2 years or more of recent Class A driving experience.
• Must have exposure to inclement weather and use of snow chains.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Ability to pass USPS background check.
• Must submit to drug testing and a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical including functional capacity exam.

Daily Operational Detail:

• Driver shall bobtail tractor or from company yard (s) to the distribution center and hook to a designated trailer and park at a designate dock.
• Load Mail carts onto a 53 foot trailer and switch trailers at meet point in Olancha, CA. Return to the Main hub for to unload mail and bobtail back to the yard to end day.
• Runs are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: Weekdays, night and day, and weekends

Schedule:

• Average hours per week: 40-54 Hours over 3-4 days
• Shift examples: 6 Days - 0300 to 1700
• We work during Holidays. Holiday Pay + Trip Pay
• Days on example: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Days off: 4 days a week

Compensation:

• Class A Tractor Trailer: $25.79 + $5.03 in Benefit Pay (paid up to 40 hours per week) - Benefit Pay is used to offset monthly health insurance or 401K/ROTH premiums. If you do not take company insurance & provide proof of other sufficient coverage or sign waiver, the Benefit pay will be added to your wages raising the total wage to $30.82 upto 40 hrs.
