The CDPAP Coordinator must be a Bilingual (English and Spanish) customer service-driven professional who is willing to deliver the highest quality of care to our patients, and staff. The Intake Coordinator is responsible for coordinating services for those needing in-home healthcare assistance.

The ideal candidate will be mature, a quick learner, able to juggle multiple projects, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience with insurance companies in the home health field is a significant plus.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Exceptional customer service experience is required.
  • Coordinate’s placement of services between clients and the Personal Assistant.
  • Document all notes/communication in the HHA Exchange system.
  • Maintains a schedule of all services per month.
  • Communicate with the Vendor/insurance company any changes in schedule or request.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality and privacy with dignity and respect.
  • Answer telephone, records, and relays messages to appropriate personnel.
  • Manages telephone calls in a supportive, reassuring manner for patients, families, physicians, and others.
  • Enters Personal Assistant’s request for time off, sick time and personal time in the system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HHA Exchange

*Responsibilities may include additional tasks according to the needs of the department and the organization.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Bilingual Spanish speaking required.
  • Outgoing, positive personality with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and work in an extremely fast pace environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor when handling employee issues.
  • Knowledge of HHA Exchange is preferred.

Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge of the Home Care services industry is preferred.
  • High school graduate; some college credit preferred.
  • One year experience within the health care services industry; Intake Coordinator experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HHA Exchange, and Internet
  • Understands the regulations governing the home care field, related to Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
