LSI seeks a full time supervisor to provide oversight to the customer-facing mental health central intake team. The Central Intake Supervisor is a member of LSI's service quality team, and will provide administrative and customer service support to the Behavioral Health Intervention Services program and Mental Health Services throughout the state of Iowa.

What You'll Do

This position will lead and supervise the Central Intake team for LSI's Behavioral Health (BHIS) and Mental Health services. The primary role of Central Intake is to act as first point of contact to clients and referral sources by answering referral phone calls and responding to inquiries for services. Central Intake processes client intake paperwork and provides case information to clinical staff timely and accurately. The Supervisor will train, coach, and support direct reports; will collaborate with service leaders to achieve a high level of customer service quality; and will ensure the integrity of client files and information.

Position has the flexibility to work from home, but may occasionally travel to various LSI sites for staff training and support.

What You'll Need

Associate's degree with a 2 years of professional administrative experience with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience preferred; a HS degree with an equivalent combination of direct and supervisory experience will be considered.

This person should be detail oriented and customer focused. Proficiency in the use of data based clinical software and Microsoft Office Suite applications is required. A knowledge of the funding and authorization process through the Managed Care Organizations and other insurance companies would be beneficial.

This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
