JOB OVERVIEW

Take food and beverage orders, process orders in point of sale system, collect payments, retrieve and serve food and beverages to Guests, courteously and efficiently, assist in maintenance of dining area.

REPORTS TO

Restaurant Manager and/or Shift Supervisor.

WORK HOURS

Team members will be required to work day and/or evening shifts, both weekdays and weekends, and on holidays.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

1) Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages with food.

2) 1 year experience as a cashier of a like or similar nature.

3) Ability to satisfactorily communicate verbal and written English with Guests, management and co-workers.

4) Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.

5) Ability to maintain complete knowledge of the following:

a) Dining room set up, number ordering system, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up and dress code of the restaurant.

b) All liquor, beer, and non-alcoholic selections, pricing, correct glassware, presentations and garnishes in the restaurant.

c) Characteristics and descriptions of every juice, shake, cocktail and wine by the glass.

d) All menu and seasonal items, taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, garnish, and method of presentation.

e) State liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons and drunk driving.

f) Correct maintenance and use of food serving preparation equipment.

g) Point-of-sale procedures.

h) Credit card terminal procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
