This position is located in Brownsville, TN at Blue Oval City Ford Site

Position Overview:

This hybrid, onsite facility position will be responsible for the overall execution of facility health and safety initiatives under the direct supervision of a Registered nurse. This position includes performing customer service coordinator duties to facilitate registration, data validation, and discharge documentation, as instructed by supervising RN.

Position Responsibilities/CMA under RN Supervision

• Coordinates periodic and pre-employment tests, as mandated
• Maintains and distributes inventory of safety and first aid supplies and medically necessary supplies
• Assists employees with medical needs on day-to-day basis (acute and non-acute care)
• Provides appropriate employee status information to designated managers
• Works with Health Service customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner
• Maintains equipment and supplies
• Performs direct patient care duties, as assigned
• Triage and rooming of patients
• Provides patient safety
• Possess the ability to perform day to day clerical tasks and related duties
• Completes assigned goals

Position Responsibilities/CSC under RN Supervision

• Promotes customer satisfaction while maintaining a positive, professional manner in both verbal/nonverbal communication
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of corporate policies and procedures as they relate to clinic operations
• Answers telephone, takes and directs messages on a timely basis, according to the direction and location of appropriate to maintain continuous work flow
• Maintains an organized and efficient work environment by keeping files and records neat and orderly to promote a smooth work flow and to ensure confidentiality
• Carries out all other duties assigned by facility nurse in a timely manner

Experience and Education for CMA

• Completion of approved nursing or medical assistant course ( CMA position)
• Minimum of 1 year experience as CMA is desired
• Minimum of 1 year front desk experience/customer service

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge and ability to treat light wounds
• Knowledge of medical terms and conditions
• Ability to create documentation and logs
• Ability to communicate in a professional, clear manner
• Ability to multi-task and maintain an organized environment
• Ability to present oneself in a professional manner
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Memphis, TN 38120: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
