Travelers are the first to float. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs. During the travelers assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant to:

* Join our team of Internal Medicine providers who provide diagnosis and treatment of both acute and chronic illnesses, gynecological care and urgent care.

* Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness and education.

* Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.

* Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, document chief complaint, medications and allergies, perform EKGs and administer medications and treatments.

**Minimum Requirements: **

* Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in traveler's profile).

* Prior traveling experience preferred.

* EPIC and ambulatory experience preferred.

Education: H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
Work Experience : Two years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.
Licenses & Certification: Certified as active CMA, RMA or CCMA, and BLS certification

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
